About

MADAR is a curated collectible design gallery presenting limited-edition works where art, craftsmanship, and material expression converge.

Founded by interior architect and curator Dania Bawadkji Henaidy, MADAR is dedicated to discovering and presenting contemporary collectible design inspired by the rich cultural landscapes of West Asia, the Eastern Mediterranean, North Africa, and neighboring regions.

At the heart of MADAR is the belief that every exceptional piece carries a story. Each work is carefully selected not only for its artistic and sculptural qualities, but for the narrative it embodies, the inspiration behind its creation, the hands that shaped it, the materials that define it, and the cultural dialogue it represents.

MADAR brings together emerging and established designers whose practices celebrate material exploration, exceptional craftsmanship, and contemporary interpretations of heritage. Through curated collections, editorial storytelling, exhibitions, and cultural collaborations, the gallery creates meaningful connections between designers, collectors, architects, interior designers, and institutions.

More than a gallery, MADAR is a platform for preserving craftsmanship, celebrating artistic expression, and fostering cross-cultural dialogue through collectible design. Every object is presented not simply as a functional piece, but as a work of enduring artistic and cultural significance.

Guided by a commitment to thoughtful curation and timeless design, MADAR invites collectors to discover objects that transcend trends pieces that carry stories, embody craftsmanship, and become part of a lasting legacy.
