Ceramics is a form of creative expression that has brought me joy for about the last 3 years. I can communicate through art and create practical yet beautiful pieces with my own hands. It is quite an accomplishment to be able to draw and visualize a two-dimensional image and then bring it to life in three dimensions. Coiling, slab building, and wheeling throwing are some of the techniques I have worked on, and my inspiration comes from nature and the variety of textures in my environment.
